Our Story
A home kitchen, a garden, and a jar of starter.
Hello, and welcome. I'm a mom to triplets, a backyard gardener, and a sourdough baker who fell in love with slow, simple bread. Somewhere between homeschooling and chasing little ones through the house, I found my calm in the rhythm of feeding a starter, folding dough, and pulling a crackling loaf from the oven.
Every loaf begins the same way: a lively sourdough starter, King Arthur bread flour, water, and salt, given all the time it needs to rise. No commercial yeast, no shortcuts. Whenever I can, the extras come straight from our garden. Herbs, berries, and peppers are picked the morning I bake, and every egg we use comes from our own free-range chickens.
“The name is for my three little joys, the men of the house and my toughest taste-testers.”
Our name carries one more meaning. Like the three wise men who brought their gifts, we see each loaf as a small gift, and every good thing in our kitchen as a blessing from above. Each bake begins with a prayer of thanks.
I've always loved to feed others, and this little bakery is mostly for our neighbors. Sharing a warm loaf over the fence or on the front porch is one of the simplest ways I know to love the people God has placed around us.
“Love your neighbor as yourself.”Mark 12:31 (NIV)
